Heritage Village Resort is a tranquil riverside escape in Kampot, Cambodia, offering an immersive experience where luxury, nature, and Khmer cultural heritage harmoniously meet. Surrounded by lush landscapes and traditional architecture, the resort provides guests with an unforgettable stay rooted in comfort, serenity, and authentic local charm.

Before partnering with twd., Heritage Village Resort faced a set of digital experience challenges:
Limited Online Identity: Despite offering a premium riverside experience, the resort’s online presence didn’t fully capture its unique atmosphere, cultural elements, and hospitality standards.
Visual Storytelling Needs: Communicating the resort’s blend of luxury, nature, and Khmer tradition required strong visuals and narrative structure to inspire potential guests.
Booking Confidence: Guests needed a seamless browsing and inquiry process to feel confident about booking their stay, especially international travelers unfamiliar with Kampot.
Mobile-First Experience: As most travelers browse and book on mobile, the resort needed a responsive, visually rich, and easy-to-navigate platform.
Our challenge was to create an online experience that balanced beauty with functionality—showcasing the resort’s charm while ensuring optimal usability and performance.
Our approach centered on translating Heritage Village Resort’s atmosphere into a seamless digital experience that evokes calm, authenticity, and trust. We began with discovery sessions to understand the resort’s brand story, cultural influences, and guest journey—from inspiration to booking. A visual-first UX/UI strategy was developed, prioritizing immersive imagery, natural color palettes, and spacious layouts to reflect the riverside setting. Content was carefully structured to guide users through accommodations, experiences, and amenities with clarity and ease. The platform was built with a mobile-first mindset, ensuring fast performance, responsive design, and intuitive navigation, while laying a strong foundation for SEO, bilingual content, and future booking integrations.
The final digital platform delivered:
